Background: Ableism means the discrimination and devaluation of disabled and chronically ill people. It is no coincidence that the Antiableist Action logo is reminiscent of the Antifa logo. This is intended to show that disability rights activism can/must be radical and uncomfortable. At the same time, an overlap with "classic" left-wing activism is to be created, since the awareness of (anti-)ableism within the left-wing scene is still rather low
