Background: Atakku is a collective born in the pandemic. Gentrification, repression and an economic crisis that has lasted for over a decade in Greece make it very difficult to start new autonomous projects and to maintain older ones. The pandemic has apparently confirmed these facts. Atakku is a structure that wants to respond to the financial shortage and enable autonomous projects. Atakku is a call for solidarity to our friends globally. The projects supported by the first collection are CopWatchGR (media against police) and Respiro social space for freedom, a new social center in Thessaloniki.
