Background:
Candykrush builds and uses a non-commercial, sex-positive, body-neutral space for LGBTQ+ located in Leipzig. The self-image is queer-feminist, critical of power and intersectional thinking and acting. In the Candykrush, people should be sensitive to discrimination, i.e. nobody is excluded because of certain characteristics and all forms of discrimination are taken seriously. Our organizational team consists of four trans people and otherwise we consist of mainly queer FLINTA as members of the club. In the Candykrush there are workshops, lectures, plenary sessions, bar evenings, parties. The thematic focus is on gender identity, sexuality, mental and physical health and a critical approach to power hierarchies.
