Forest instead of Asphalt is a group of activists occupying a piece of forest on the planned autobahn route in the Dannenröder Forest near Lehrbach, Niederklein and Dannenrod. The reason for this is the urgently needed prevention of the imminent clearing and construction work on the planned A49 route, since previous long-term attempts to protect the valley, the forest and the water protection area have been in vain.
